Overview

The SAE Engine and Materials Convergence Conference brings together combustion and materials engineers from the automotive industry to talk about the role of advanced materials in achieving higher engine efficiencies. It is the first known forum at which automotive engineers and researchers will meet face to face to discuss paths forward for improving engine efficiencies through materials selection. Join this event to discover the latest information on research findings and applications focused on reducing friction, boosting and downsizing of internal combustion engine and exhaust components, heat losses, aftertreatment, NVH, and an overview of global research projects.

The Hotel Nassauer Hof – a classic hotel located in the Rhine-Main region – is a true gem of the Germany luxury hotel sector. Set right in the heart of Wiesbaden opposite the magnificent Wiesbaden Kurhaus, the historic 5-star hotel and spa is a favoured place to stay for visitors from all over the world as well as a very prestigious pied-a-terre for many city residents. “Much more than a home far away from home” has been the Hotel Nassauer Hof motto ever since 1813.

The Hotel is directly opposite to the historic Kurhaus and just a short walk away from numerous shopping facilities, theatres, and museums. The trade fair and congress centre is 15 minutes walking distance away.
